Arcadia is a small semi-rural suburb in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is about 42 km north-west of the Sydney central business district, in the Hornsby Shire. The main road, Arcadia Road, links to Fiddletown, Berrilee and Berowra Waters, and connects with Cobah Road toward Dural. Nearby suburbs include Glenorie, Fiddletown, Berrilee and Galston.

Arcadia sits around 218 metres above sea level. The population in 2021 was 1,475. Most residents were born in Australia and speak English at home. The most common religions are No Religion, Catholic and Anglican.

Education: Arcadia Public School serves local children from Kindergarten to Year 6. Northholm Grammar School (a private K–12 school) uses an Arcadia address.

History: The name Arcadia comes from the Greek region associated with pastoral life. The area appeared as Dooral on an 1817 map and later became known as Arcadia. Timber cutters began opening the area from 1817. Early settlements were called Upper, Middle, Lower, North and Little Dural. Arcadia Post Office opened in 1895 and closed in 1974. The suburb name came from a public school opened in 1895.

Culture: Arcadia Road and some houses on Roscommon Road were featured in the film Tomorrow, When the War Began. Arcadia Public School celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2014, and in 2015 the anniversary committee received the Owen Nannelli Memorial Award from Hornsby Shire Council.
