Edward J. O'Malley Jr. (born January 26, 1975) is an American nonprofit executive, author, and former politician. He grew up in Johnson County, Kansas, and graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School in Overland Park. He earned a BA in history from Kansas State University and began his career as an aide to Governor Bill Graves and as a staff member for the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce.

O'Malley served as a Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives for the 24th district from 2003 to 2007. He was appointed to the seat after Robert Tomlinson left to become Assistant Insurance Commissioner and was elected twice. In the Legislature, he served on committees for economic development, financial institutions, taxation, and transportation. In 2017 he announced he was exploring a run for Kansas governor in 2018, launching his campaign in October 2017. He was the first president and CEO of the Kansas Leadership Center starting in January 2007, based in Wichita. In August 2022 he became president and CEO of the Kansas Health Foundation, a private philanthropy also based in Wichita. Personal life: He is married to Joanna O'Malley and they have three children.
