Ken Boswell (Kenneth James Boswell) was a New Zealand rower born on 16 September 1912 in Waihi. He grew up in Petone, went to Petone Technical High School, and rowed for the Petone Rowing Club. He also played as a forward for the Petone Rugby League Club.

Boswell rowed for Wellington in the provincial eight for five seasons from 1934 to 1939, usually in seat six or seven. In 1937, his Petone four—Jim Clayton (stroke), Albert Hope, Boswell, and John Rigby, coxed by George Burns—won the New Zealand national coxed four title. That same crew represented New Zealand at the 1938 British Empire Games in Sydney and won the silver medal in the men’s coxed four.

He later won two more national rowing titles in double sculls with Pat Abbott, in Picton in 1939 and in Wellington in 1940.

Boswell died on 20 February 1984 in Auckland and was cremated at the North Shore Memorial Park, Albany.
