Ecclesiastical Leases Act 1575
The Ecclesiastical Leases Act 1575 was a law passed by the English Parliament during the reign of Elizabeth I (18 Eliz. 1. c. 11). It was meant to explain and enforce rules about two things: dilapidations (damage to church property) and leases of church lands or rights used for spiritual promotions in certain cases. It applied to England and Wales.
