Dola is a small census-designated place in central Washington Township, Hardin County, Ohio. As of 2020, about 143 people live there. The community has a post office with the ZIP code 45835 and is in area code 419.

Dola sits along State Route 81, between Ada and Dunkirk, about 12 miles north-northwest of Kenton, the county seat. It covers about 0.83 square miles, all land, and is at an elevation of 938 feet. The Eagle Creek headwaters are in Dola; the creek flows north to join the Blanchard River in Findlay.

History notes: Dola was originally called North Washington and was laid out in 1852. A post office opened in 1854 under the name North Washington, and the name was changed to Dola in 1906.

Education: Hardin Northern High School is about 2 miles east of the center of Dola and is sometimes referred to as "Dola Hardin Northern."
