Diatraea impersonatellus is a species of moth in the Crambidae family. It was first described by Francis Walker in 1863. The species is found in South America, including Guyana, Brazil, and Venezuela. It has several synonyms that were used in the past: Crambus impersonatellus (Walker, 1863); Diatraea moorella (Dyar & Heinrich, 1927); Diatraea angustella (Dyar, 1911); Diatraea flavipennella (Box, 1931); and Diatraea pallidostricta (Dyar, 1911).
