Delphax
Delphax is a genus of planthoppers, mostly found in Europe. They belong to the Delphacidae family of true bugs. Classification: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Arthropoda; Class Insecta; Order Hemiptera; Suborder Auchenorrhyncha; Infraorder Fulgoromorpha; Family Delphacidae; Tribe Delphacini; Genus Delphax (Fabricius, 1798). Synonym: Araeopus (Spinola, 1839). Delphax crassicornis is a species within this genus.
