New England Island
New England Island is an uninhabited, low-lying island in Essex, England. A single road crosses the island and connects to bridges that lead to Foulness Island and to the mainland via Havengore Island. It was once used as pasture for livestock and is protected by levees. Since the early 20th century, the island has been owned by the Ministry of Defence. Location: 51.5743°N, 0.8487°E.
