Deer Park High School (New York)
Deer Park High School is a public high school in Deer Park, Long Island, New York. It is the only high school in the Deer Park School Union Free School District and serves grades 9–12. The school is located at 1 Falcon Place, Deer Park, NY 11729. The principal is Charles Cobb. Established in 1959, the school has a suburban, coed campus and uses maroon, gray, and white as its colors. The mascot and team name are the Falcons, and the slogan is "Home of the Falcons." Feeder middle school is Robert Frost Middle School, which students attend after eighth grade. Enrollment is about 1,312 students (2023–2024), with an average class size of 26.2 and a student–teacher ratio of about 14.9 to 1, above the state average of 12.8. In 2008, Deer Park High School exceeded the state average in all nine Regents exam areas, and students can take AP exams in 16 subjects.
