Kathy Joann Whitman (born Kathy Joann Griffin in 1952 in Havre, Montana) is an American businesswoman and Republican politician. She served in the Montana House of Representatives for District 96, which covers Missoula, Frenchtown and Huson, from January 2021 to January 2023. She lost her seat in the 2022 election to Democrat Jonathan Karlen. Whitman lives in Missoula with her husband, Mike, and they have three children. She is a graduate of the University of Montana and works as a business owner.
