Andreas Christian Ferdinand Flinch (3 February 1813 – 16 August 1872) was a Danish wood-engraver born in Copenhagen. He studied at the Copenhagen Academy from 1832 to 1838 and had earlier worked as a goldsmith. Self-taught in wood engraving, he introduced a Danish method of drawing the outline directly on the block and finishing the details freehand. In 1840 he became a lithographer and published Flinchs Almanak, a popular calendar with woodcut illustrations. He died in Copenhagen in 1872.
