Dave Wiemers (born April 18, 1968) is an American football coach from Clay Center, Kansas. He played quarterback at Dodge City Community College and Washburn University, and began coaching in 1992. Over the years he has held multiple roles at several colleges and high schools, including a six-season stint as head coach at Emporia State University.

As head coach at Emporia State (2001–2006), he compiled a 35–32 record. He led the Hornets to 9–3 seasons in 2002 and 2003, won the 2002 Mineral Water Bowl, and guided Emporia State to its first NCAA Division II playoff appearance in 2003. He was named MIAA Coach of the Year in 2003.

Other coaching roles include offensive coordinator at Tarleton State in 2007, defensive coordinator at Pittsburg State (2008–2010), and assistant head coach/defensive coordinator at Pittsburg State (2011–2019). He later coached at the high school level: Carthage High School (MO) as offensive coordinator in 2021–2022 and Webb City High School (MO) as defensive coordinator in 2023, before becoming a senior defense analyst at Utah State in 2024.

Family: his brother Jon Wiemers is the assistant head coach and offensive line coach at Southeast Missouri State University, and his sister Suzie Fritz is the head volleyball coach at Kansas State University.
