I Can Do All Things is the debut studio album by jazz artist and composer Jeremy Warren, released in 2016. It was recorded on March 22 and April 22 at Flux Studios in New York City. The 1 hour, 7 minutes, and 50 seconds long project features Warren’s band The Rudiment along with guest players Andy Milne, Lenny Pickett, Leon Marin, and Jack Cooper. The album includes songs written by Warren, Milne, Cooper, and Dermel Warren (his wife).

The music blends jazz with elements from contemporary pop, telling a personal story of overcoming obstacles through music. It reflects Warren’s journey from Little Rock to Memphis and finally to New York City. He grew up with a mother who played organ and piano in church, earned a full scholarship to the University of Memphis Scheidt School of Music, and earned dual degrees in Jazz Studies and Music Education. His most growth came in Memphis, where he performed with many artists and led a Beale Street band on Saturdays for two years. He moved to NYC in 2013 and earned a master’s degree in music from NYU in 2015, where he connected with Milne and Pickett, influencing the recording.

Kari-on Productions, based in Atlanta, promoted the release. The CD was submitted for the 2017 Grammy ballot in the R&B Album and Recording Package categories. Before the album came out, music from the recording was played in New York and New Jersey venues in 2015–2016, and the premiere release happened June 1, 2016 at Rockwood Music Hall in Manhattan.

On music charts, I Can Do All Things did well: Roots Music Report peaked at #3 after 13 weeks, CMJ New Music peaked at #6 after 10 weeks, and JazzWeek reached #68 after 19 weeks (as of August 22, 2016). Critics noted a blend of Memphis blues with R&B and soul, and praised Warren’s melodic drumming and his generosity toward other artists.
