Daan Jacobus Siegfried de Lange (4 August 1915 – 29 May 1988) was a chess player who was born in the Netherlands and later became a Norwegian champion. He won the Norwegian Chess Championship in 1960.

He grew up in the Netherlands, played football as a youth and even had a stint with Ajax, and he also studied music. During World War II he lived in England and served in the music division of the U.S. Army. After the war he returned to the Netherlands, and in the mid-1950s he moved to Norway, living first in Stavanger and then in Hamar. He also played the piano.

For about twenty years he was one of Norway’s leading chess players. He represented Norway in international events such as the Chess Olympiads, the Clare Benedict Cup, and the Nordic Chess Cup.
