Anders Dahl-Nielsen
Anders Dahl-Nielsen (born 27 January 1951) is a Danish former handball player and coach. Born in Aarhus, he played for Vejle Idrætsforening, Tarup-Paarup IF, Fredericia KFUM and Ribe HK as a player-coach. He appeared 209 times for the Danish national team and scored 610 goals. He competed in three Olympics: 1976, 1980 and 1984. In 1976 Denmark finished eighth (he played six matches and scored 22 goals); in 1980 they finished ninth (six matches, 20 goals); and in 1984 they finished fourth (six matches, 8 goals).
At club level, he helped Fredericia KFUM win the Danish league five times in a row (1975–1979) and reach the 1976 EHF Cup final. He began coaching at Ribe HK in 1980. He led the Denmark national team from 1987 to 1992. In 1993 he moved to Germany to coach SG Flensburg-Handewitt, winning the EHF European League in 1997. He then coached Skjern Håndbold from 1998 to 2004, guiding them to the Danish league title in 1999 and to the EHF European Cup in 2001/2002 and 2002/2003.
