Croft Pasture
Croft Pasture is a 6.2-hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the edge of Croft, Leicestershire. About 5.8 hectares of the site are owned and managed by the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust. The River Soar runs through the meadow, which is an unimproved grazed grassland dominated by common bent and crested dog's-tail. In the northern part of the site there is a small knoll with uncommon plants such as meadow saxifrage, common stork’s-bill and subterranean clover. Access is from Station Road. The site was designated in 1983.
