Emmanuel Agbadou
Badobre Emmanuel Elysee Djedje Agbadou, known as Emmanuel Agbadou, is an Ivorian footballer who plays as a centre-back for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League and for the Ivory Coast national team. He was born on 17 June 1997 in Abidjan and is 1.92 m tall.
Agbadou started his senior career with US Monastir in Tunisia in 2019, signing in July. He debuted for Monastir on 25 September 2019 in a 1-0 win over Stade Tunisien. In September 2020 he moved to Eupen in Belgium, and his first professional match came on 30 October 2020, a 4-0 defeat to Genk.
In June 2022 he signed a five-year contract with Reims in France. He made his Ligue 1 debut for Reims on 7 August 2022 against Marseille. On 20 September 2024 he extended his contract with Reims until 2028. On 9 January 2025 he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on a four-and-a-half-year deal for about £16.6 million. He scored his first Wolves goal on 20 May 2025 against Crystal Palace. On 1 November 2025 he was sent off for a red card in a 3–0 loss to Fulham, and the next day Wolves manager Vítor Pereira was dismissed after ten winless games.
Internationally, Agbadou debuted for Ivory Coast on 8 October 2021 as a substitute in a 3–0 victory over Malawi. He also played in a 3–0 friendly loss to England on 29 March 2022 and has earned 17 caps with 2 goals as of December 2025.
