Misogawa Dam (味噌川ダム) is a rock-fill embankment dam on the Kiso River in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. It was built for flood control, water supply for people and industry, and power generation. Construction began in 1973 and the dam opened in 1996. The dam is owned by the Japan Water Agency, and the Nagano Prefectural Bureau of Enterprise operates the power station. The structure stands about 140 meters tall and 447 meters long, with a dam volume of about 8.9 million cubic meters. The reservoir creates Lake Okugi, with a total capacity of 61 million cubic meters. The catchment area is 55.1 square kilometers, and the reservoir covers about 135 square kilometers of surface area. The power plant has a capacity of 4.8 MW.
