Coreen is a small locality in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. It sits about 609 kilometres southwest of Sydney and 328 kilometres north of Melbourne. Coreen is located just past the turn-off to Berrigan along the Riverina Highway.

History
Coreen Post Office opened on 1 January 1900 and closed in 1976. In 1912 Mr. W. A. Martin bought the liquor licence from the Phoenix Hotel in Corowa and opened the Coreen Hotel in 1913.

Sport and recreation
The Coreen Football Club started in 1906 and played in the Federal Football Association until 1908, then joined the Coreen & District Football Association in 1909. The Coreen Settler’s Football Club was formed from players in a local government settlement in 1907 and played from 1910 to 1915, winning premierships in 1913 and 1914. Coreen FC reached nine consecutive grand finals between 1924 and 1931, winning premierships in 1926, 1929 and 1930. Additional premierships were won in 1933, 1946, 1947, 1951, 1974, 1975, 1978, 1980, 1987 and 1991. In 1995 Coreen FC merged with Daysdale FC to form Coreen Daysdale United FC, which continued until 2005. In 2006 it merged with Hopefield Buraja FC to form Coreen Daysdale Hopefield Buraja United Saints FC (CDHBUFC), and in 2008 they joined the Hume Football League after the Coreen & DFA folded. The team is known as the Power and wears black, white and teal blue.
