1973–74 Isthmian League
The 1973–74 Isthmian League was the 59th season of the English football competition and the first to have two divisions, Division One and Division Two, after sixteen new clubs joined Division Two. It was also the first season to award three points for a win.
Wycombe Wanderers were champions of Division One, and Dagenham were champions of Division Two. Relegated from Division One were Corinthian-Casuals and St Albans City.
Fifteen clubs joined the Isthmian League from different divisions of the Athenian League, and Hertford Town moved from the Eastern Counties League.
Division One played 462 matches and scored 1,263 goals (about 2.73 per game). Division Two played 240 matches and scored 657 goals (about 2.74 per game).
