Ohio State Route 541
State Route 541 (SR 541) is a 52.3-mile state highway in central Ohio. It starts on the west at US 62 in Martinsburg and ends on the east at exit 54 of I-77 in Liberty Township. The road travels through Knox, Coshocton, and Guernsey counties, and it has a junction with SR 16 and SR 83 in Coshocton.
SR 541 was created in 1962 by renaming what had been SR 271, as Ohio renamed highways that shared numbers with proposed Interstates. SR 271 began in 1932 on a Coshocton–North Salem route at US 21 (replacing SR 95). By 1935 it had taken over the route of SR 309 from Coshocton to Tunnel Hill and parts of SR 206 from Martinsburg to New Guilford. In 1937 it was extended east to Birmingham. After I-77 was completed in the late 1960s, SR 541’s eastern end was moved to meet I-77 near North Salem.
