Cole Peverley
Cole Robert Peverley (born 3 July 1988) is a New Zealand footballer who plays as a midfielder for Auckland City in the New Zealand Football Championship. He has represented New Zealand at the Under-20, Under-23, and senior levels.
Born in Auckland, Peverley began his career with Papatoetoe and spent time with Germany’s Hansa Rostock before returning to New Zealand. He has played for Hawke’s Bay United, Team Wellington, Canterbury United, and had multiple spells with Team Wellington, before joining Auckland City in 2018.
Peverley played for New Zealand at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2008 OFC Men’s Olympic Tournament, scoring against Fiji. He appeared in all three group games at the 2008 Olympics. He made his full All Whites debut on 19 November 2008 against Fiji and was later added to the squad as injury cover for the 2010 World Cup. There were reports he might sign for Papamoa FC and discussions with Tauranga City, but these details were not confirmed.
