Bayonne (musician)
Bayonne is the stage name of Roger Sellers, an American minimalist electronic musician from Austin, Texas. He makes electronic, ambient, dream pop, and Americana music and is known for layering intricate loops during one-man live performances.
Sellers released music under his own name before becoming Bayonne in 2016, with the re-release of Primitives on the Mom + Pop/City Slang label. His early work includes the self-released Roger Sellers (his first album) and 2012’s 8 Songs, plus Moments (2011) on Pau Wau Records. In 2014 he released Primitives through Punctum Records, which was later reissued by Mom + Pop Music in 2016.
Bayonne’s second album, Drastic Measures, was released on February 22, 2019, following an announcement in 2018. His song “Appeals” was featured in the FIFA 17 video game. His third studio album, Temporary Time, arrived on May 26, 2023, with music videos for the singles Right Thing, Perfect, and Words.
