Cliff Clinkscales (born March 11, 1984) is an American former pro basketball player and the head coach of the KW Titans in the Basketball Super League.

Clinkscales grew up in Jamaica, Queens, New York. He played high school basketball at Springfield Gardens in Queens and then Shores Christian Academy in Ocala, Florida, where his team won the National Association of Christian Athletes title. He was a three-star recruit and chose to play college basketball for DePaul, where he starred from 2004 to 2008. As a senior, he led NCAA Division I in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.62) and became known for his passing.

He started his professional career in 2008 after going undrafted. He played in the NBA Development League for the Erie BayHawks and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, and spent a season with the Panama City Breeze in the American Basketball League.

Clinkscales found his greatest fame in Canada. He joined the Halifax Rainmen in 2013-14 and later played for the Halifax Hurricanes from 2015 to 2020. He set the league’s all-time assists record and earned an All-Star selection in 2014. He helped the Hurricanes win the 2016 NBL Canada championship and served as team captain.

He retired from playing in 2020 and began coaching. He joined the KW Titans as an assistant coach in 2021 and became the head coach for the 2022-23 season.

Off the court, Clinkscales has played streetball in New York and coached youth basketball. He has spoken out on social issues and participated in charity events, including the Trayvon Martin Invitational.
