Cindy Burger (tennis)
Cindy Burger (born 25 November 1992) is a retired Dutch tennis player from Purmerend. She turned professional in 2010 and played until 2021. Burger plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand. She won seven ITF singles titles and six ITF doubles titles, and earned $229,474 in prize money.
Her career-high rankings are No. 134 in singles (31 October 2016) and No. 163 in doubles (16 January 2017). In Grand Slams, she mostly competed in qualifying rounds: Australian Open Q1 (2016), French Open Q2 (2016), Wimbledon Q1 (2015, 2016), and US Open Q1 (2014, 2015).
Burger’s best WTA result came in 2016 at the Rio Open, where she reached the quarterfinals after advancing through qualifying. She also represented the Netherlands in Fed Cup, posting a 0–3 record.
