Cugir (Hungarian: Kudzsir-patak) is a left tributary of the Mureș River in Romania. It rises at the confluence of the headwaters Râul Mare and Râul Mic in the town of Cugir, with sources in the Șureanu Mountains. The river flows north through Alba County, passing through the villages of Cugir, Vinerea and Șibot. It is about 67 kilometers long and drains a basin of about 358 square kilometers. Its left tributary is Râul Mic, and its right tributaries are Râul Mare and Chișag. The Cugir joins the Mureș near the village of Șibot. In the last 3 kilometers before the confluence, two branches split from the main river: one runs to the left past Șibot, and the other to the right along Balomiru de Câmp.
