Chrysochroa ocellata
Chrysochroa ocellata is a jewel beetle from India, including the Andaman Islands. It belongs to the Buprestidae family. The insect grows to about 20 millimetres long. Its body and legs are metallic green. The elytra (wing covers) have a long bright reddish band interrupted by a broad rounded yellow‑orange spot in the middle.
