Divisions of Balochistan

The divisions are the province’s top-level administrative regions in Pakistan’s Balochistan. There are eight divisions as of 2023. Each division contains several districts, and districts are further divided into tehsils and union councils. In the administrative hierarchy, a division is above a district but below the province.

Quick facts:
- Population: Quetta division is the most populated (about 4,259,163 in 2023). Rakhshan division has the smallest population (about 940,001).
- Area: Rakhshan division is the largest by area (about 98,596 square kilometers). Quetta division is the smallest by area (about 14,559 square kilometers).
