Salute Me or Shoot Me 4 (Banned from America) is a mixtape by American rapper Waka Flocka Flame, released on September 13, 2012. It was recorded during 2011–2012 and runs 60 minutes and 32 seconds. The project is in the Southern hip hop genre and was released on the labels 1017, Brick Squad, and Brick Squad Monopoly. Producers include Southside, TM88, Envy, London on da Track, Terry on Da Beats, Van Camp, Kaleon, Joe Boom, and G-Luck. The mixtape features guest appearances from Gucci Mane, Wale, Roscoe Dash, Frenchie, Yo Gotti, Dorrough, Shawty Lo, Trae Tha Truth, Wooh Da Kid, Chief Keef, and others. It sits in Waka Flocka Flame’s discography after Lebron Flocka James 3 (2011) and before DuFlocka Rant 2 (2013).

Reception: XXL reviewer Adam Fleischer gave it a low grade, noting that the beats are trap-heavy and Waka’s energy remains magnetic, even if it isn’t as surprising as before. Pitchfork’s Jordan Sargent gave it 6.7 out of 10, saying Waka’s energy is still strong and that the project has a lighter, more playful vibe, like an hour of shouting that feels like a hug.
