Chittagong-2
Chittagong-2 is a constituency for the Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) of Bangladesh. It is located in Chittagong District, within the Chittagong Division. The electorate is about 480,857 voters (2026). The seat was created in 1973 for the first general elections after independence. The area covers the entire Fatikchhari Upazila, including its towns, villages, and surrounding rural areas, forming one electoral unit. The seat is currently vacant, since 6 August 2024. In 2008, the Election Commission redrew its boundaries to reflect population changes from the 2001 census, which changed the constituency’s borders.
