Mirko Šarić (6 June 1978 – 4 April 2000) was an Argentine footballer who played as a midfielder for San Lorenzo de Almagro. He was born in Buenos Aires to Croatian parents and joined San Lorenzo’s youth academy, making his first-team debut in December 1996. He was seen as a top young prospect and was linked with Real Madrid before his death.

Šarić played for San Lorenzo from 1996 to 2000, making 41 league appearances and scoring 4 goals. He began strongly but later was used mainly as a substitute after being moved to a different position. In December 1999, during a reserve game against River Plate, he tore ligaments in his left knee and did not fully recover. His last official match was December 3, 1999, against Vélez Sarsfield.

His brother Martín Šarić also played football professionally and later became a coach for San Lorenzo. Off the field, Mirko faced personal and mental health struggles and was receiving psychiatric help. On the morning of 4 April 2000, his mother found him dead in his room; he had died by suicide.
