Charles W. Elliott (1943–January 29, 2023), also known as Charles Elliott Termosen, was a wood carver and graphic artist from the Tsartlip First Nation in Saanich, British Columbia. He lived on Vancouver Island and started carving as a child. His totem poles and other works are displayed around Greater Victoria, including three at the Victoria International Airport, one at Butchart Gardens, and one at the University of Victoria. His pieces decorate interiors at the airport, and he created a podium used for the 2013 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences at UVic, the altar at St. Andrew's Cathedral in Victoria, the Queen's Baton for the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, and a talking stick given to Nelson Mandela. About 30 of his works belong to the University of Victoria's permanent collection. He received the Order of British Columbia in 2005 and was inducted into the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts in 2013. His art is the logo for the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea.
