Matt Zunic (September 19, 1919 – December 15, 2006) was an American basketball player and coach. He was born in Renton, Pennsylvania, and went to New Kensington High School. He played college basketball at George Washington University from 1938 to 1942, earning second-team All-SoCon honors in 1942.

Standing 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 195 pounds, Zunic played as a guard/forward. He spent one season in the Basketball Association of America (BAA), the early NBA, with the Washington Capitols, averaging 4.9 points per game.

After his playing days, Zunic became a coach. He led Boston University from 1952 to 1959, posting a 96–58 record. He then coached the University of Massachusetts from 1959 to 1963, going 57–41. In the 1961–62 season, Massachusetts won the Yankee Conference title and played in the school's first NCAA tournament.

Zunic also coached several other teams later in his career, including the Pittsfield Merchants, Springfield Hall of Famers, Hartford Capitols, and Westfield State, before retiring in 1976. He died in Lecanto, Florida, at age 87.
