Bucking the Truth is a 1926 American silent Western directed by Milburn Morante. It stars Pete Morrison, Brinsley Shaw, and Bruce Gordon, with cinematography by Richard Fryer. The film was produced and released by Universal Pictures and runs 52 minutes. It is a silent film with English intertitles, released on July 18, 1926.

The story follows Slim Duane, a wandering cowboy who swaps clothes with an escaped criminal, and is soon suspected of murdering Sheriff Findlay. He eludes a chasing posse and stumbles into a hidden gang of rustlers who capture him. Meanwhile, an innocent man faces wrongful accusations and near execution. Slim’s companions, Course-Gold Charlie and his partner Anne, set out to rescue him.
