Bucking the Truth
Bucking the Truth is a 1926 American silent Western directed by Milburn Morante. It stars Pete Morrison, Brinsley Shaw, and Bruce Gordon, with cinematography by Richard Fryer. The story follows Slim Duane, a wandering cowboy who swaps clothes with an escaped criminal, and is soon suspected of murdering Sheriff Findlay. He eludes a chasing posse and stumbles into a hidden gang of rustlers who capture him. Meanwhile, an innocent man faces wrongful accusations and near execution. Slim’s companions, Course-Gold Charlie and his partner Anne, set out to rescue him.
