Seetha Kalyanam is a Malayalam family drama and romance TV series that aired on Asianet from September 10, 2018, to September 10, 2021, and is available on Disney+ Hotstar. It’s the Malayalam remake of the Telugu show Lakshmi Kalyanam and ran for 772 episodes.

Story
The show centers on Seetha, a kind woman who raises her younger sister Swathi after their mother dies, working hard to fund Swathi’s education. Seetha’s life changes when she meets Rajeshwari, a wealthy and ruthless woman who hates the poor. Rajeshwari’s son Kalyan falls in love with Seetha, leading to a clash of schemes and secrets from the past. The drama features twists, family revelations, and battles to protect the sisters. In the end, Seetha and Kalyan marry and Rajeshwari is defeated, bringing peace to the family.

Cast and reception
The series stars Dhanya Mary Varghese as Seetha, with Anoop Krishnan as Kalyan and Reneesha Rahiman as Swathi. It became one of Malayalam television’s top-rated serials and won awards, including recognition at the 2019 Asianet Television Awards.
