Charles Heung Wah-keung, born on 16 December 1948, is a Hong Kong actor turned film producer and presenter. He founded Win's Entertainment in the 1980s and China Star Entertainment Group in the 1990s, helping to launch many Hong Kong stars such as Stephen Chow, Chow Yun-fat, Jet Li, and Andy Lau. He began as an actor in Taiwan in the 1970s before becoming a top film producer and studio chief.

Heung comes from a family with a well‑known triad background. His father, Heung Chin, helped found the Sun Yee On Triad, one of Hong Kong’s most powerful groups. Some government investigations have linked Heung to the triad, though he says he knows little about such activities and focuses on making movies.

In 1984 he and his brother Jimmy Heung started Win's Entertainment, which became one of Hong Kong’s biggest film studios. The brothers split in 1992; Win’s closed in 2000, and Charles then built China Star Entertainment with his wife Tiffany Chen as vice-chairman. They have three children: Candy (from his first marriage) and two sons, Jacky and Johnathan. Jimmy remained a partner for a time, but the split changed Heung’s career.

Besides producing, Heung has acted in films, best known for the role of Lung Wu, the God of Gamblers’ bodyguard, in God of Gamblers and its sequels. He has also worked as a director and presenter and has supported philanthropy through film-related work.

Heung was married to Betty Ting from 1976 to 1978; they had a daughter, Candy. He married Tiffany Chen in 1980, and they have two sons, Jacky and Johnathan. In recent years, he has faced scrutiny over his family’s triad background, and some international entries have been denied for security reasons. Heung and his supporters say these concerns are based on rumors and do not reflect his work in film.
