Wild Horse Nine
Wild Horse Nine is a British drama-thriller directed by Martin McDonagh for Searchlight Pictures. The film is produced by Blueprint Pictures and Film4, and features Sam Rockwell, John Malkovich, Parker Posey, Steve Buscemi, Mariana di Girolamo, and Tom Waits.
Development began in February 2025. The project was announced with Rockwell, Malkovich, and Mark Ruffalo in mind, but Parker Posey joined the cast soon after. In March 2025, Steve Buscemi replaced Ruffalo. Ailín Salas and Paola Giannini are also part of the cast.
Filming started in March 2025 on Rapa Nui (Easter Island) and continued in April in Conchalí, at the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, and in central Santiago. The shoot wrapped on April 28.
