Vince Dean
Vince Dean (born January 7, 1959) is an American politician from Tennessee. A Republican, he served in the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 30th district (part of Hamilton County) from April 6, 2006, to August 31, 2014, when he resigned to become Hamilton County Criminal Court Clerk. He was succeeded by Marc Gravitt. Dean was first elected to the 104th General Assembly (2005–2006) and was reelected to the 105th. In the House, he served on the State and Local Government Committee, the Transportation Committee, and related subcommittees. Before joining the state House, he was a three-term East Ridge city council member, chaired the Tennessee Municipal League, and served on its board. He is a retired police officer and former mayor of East Ridge. He graduated from Baylor High School and studied at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Cleveland State University. He is married to Debbie, has two children, and resides in East Ridge, Tennessee.
