Chamberlain River
Chamberlain River is a river in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. It begins in the Durack Range near Yulumbu, at about 536 metres above sea level. It flows north for about 236 kilometres along the range and joins the Pentecost River near El Questro Station, at about 76 metres above sea level. The traditional owners of the area are the Kitja people. The river was named in 1901 by surveyor Frederick Brockman after William Alfred Chamberlain, a Fremantle shipbuilder and Broome pearler.
