Cephaloleia neglecta is a species of leaf beetle in the family Chrysomelidae. It was described by Weise in 1910.

Distribution: Bolivia, Brazil (Rondônia), Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.

Description: Adults are about 5.7–6.5 mm long. They are yellowish, with a darker head, antennae, and pronotum, and a reddish edge along the sides.

Host plants: Known food plants are Heliconia aurea and Heliconia bihai; adults have also been found on Heliconia stricta.
