Mitch Rose
Mitch Rose is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Buxton in the National League North. He was born on 4 July 1994 in Doncaster, England.
He began in the Sheffield Wednesday youth system before joining Rotherham United in 2010. Rose made his professional debut for Rotherham in 2012 and spent time on loan at Stamford and Crawley Town early in his career.
After leaving Rotherham, he played for Ilkeston, Mansfield Town, Newport County, Grimsby Town, and Notts County. He later had spells with Boston United, Yeovil Town, South Shields, Mickleover, Armthorpe Welfare, and Ashton United, before signing for Buxton in 2024.
Rose is known as a tough, box-to-box midfielder who breaks up play. He can also fill in at right-back or centre-back when needed.
His brother is Danny Rose, a former England international. In July 2021, Mitch Rose received a suspended prison sentence for assault.
