Cecil Ford
Cecil William Ford (20 April 1913 – 11 July 1994) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium-fast. Born in Elstree, Hertfordshire, Ford played for Hertfordshire in the Minor Counties Championship from 1932 to 1939, appearing in 52 matches. He also played one first-class match in 1936 for a Minor Counties team against the touring Indians at Lord's, scoring 2 and 3 before being dismissed by Amar Singh in both innings. After World War II, he played for Devon in the Minor Counties Championship from 1946 to 1947, appearing in 14 matches. He died in Wellington, Somerset, in 1994.
