Carson station (Los Angeles Metro)
Carson station is a below-grade busway station on the J Line of the Los Angeles Metro Busway system. It sits on the shoulder of Interstate 110 at the intersection with Carson Street in Carson and West Carson, California. The station has two side platforms, which you reach from Carson Street by stairs or elevators. It’s one of two Harbor Freeway stations outside the Harbor Transitway, and it’s close to Harbor–UCLA Medical Center. A 143-space park-and-ride lot serves riders.
On the J Line (route 950), the next stops are Pacific Coast Highway to the north (toward San Pedro) and Harbor Gateway Transit Center to the south (toward El Monte). The station opened on November 17, 2000. Buses run daily from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. about every 30 minutes. Connections include Long Beach Transit, Los Angeles Metro Bus, and Torrance Transit. In fiscal year 2025, Carson station had an average of 208 weekday boardings.
