Canadian Aviation Expo (CAE) was Canada’s largest aviation event, combining a three‑day tradeshow with a fly‑in, and it sometimes included an airshow (except in 2007). Headquartered in Oshawa, Ontario, the Expo was held each year in early May at the Hamilton/John C. Munro International Airport, drawing about 20,000 visitors annually.

The event began in 1993 as the Toronto Aviation & Aircraft Show, organized by Toronto air traffic controller Eamonn Flynn, at the Toronto International Centre near Pearson. In 1994 it moved to the Canadian Airlines hangar at Pearson to allow bigger displays and later shifted to Downsview Airport in north Toronto to accommodate a fly‑in. The business was purchased before the 2001 show by Stephen Wilcox. The show moved to Oshawa Airport in 2002 and was renamed Canadian Aviation Expo. In 2009 it moved again to Hamilton Airport, using the facilities of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum for a joint show. The Expo has not been held since 2014.

Since 2002, the principals have been Stephen Wilcox, Steve Nichols, and John Green. Breitling was its major sponsor from 2002 onward, and the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association supported the event, hosting its annual convention in conjunction with the CAE in 2003 and 2006.
