Chorus (gastropod)
Chorus is a group of sea snails in the murex family, Muricidae. They are marine gastropods. Their shells are oval and somewhat swollen, with a tall, raised spire. The opening is wide and oval, and the siphonal canal at the front is straight. The inner column (columella) is smooth and curved, and the outer lip has a noticeable tooth toward the front. There are several species in this group, which belongs to the subfamily Ocenebrinae.
