William Henry Harrison Cook

William Henry Harrison Cook (November 5, 1840 – February 11, 1923) was a soldier, teacher, Baptist minister, and West Virginia state politician. He was born in Logan County, Virginia (now part of West Virginia) and later lived in Wyoming County. He fought for the Union in the Civil War and then worked as a teacher and pastor.

Cook served in the West Virginia House of Delegates (1887–1888 and 1913–1914) and in the West Virginia Senate (1895–1898 and 1903–1906) for the 7th District. He died in Pineville, West Virginia, and was buried at God Acre Cemetery in Rock View, West Virginia. A statue honoring him was placed at the Wyoming County Courthouse in 1933.
