Cameron Bernasconi
Cameron Bernasconi is a former Australian rules footballer and current senior coach. He is the head coach of Greater Western Sydney in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW).
He started playing football with Tuggeranong and joined Greater Western Sydney’s first TAC Cup team in 2010. He later played senior football with Ainslie and the Canberra Demons in the NEAFL, finishing his playing days back at Ainslie in the AFL Canberra competition.
In 2014, the AFL hired him as talent and coaching manager for the ACT and southern New South Wales. He earned his level-three coaching accreditation and helped with the Giants’ AFLW program in its first season in 2017. In 2020, he became head coach of the Giants Academy, which competed in NAB League on an invitational basis. In April 2022, he was appointed head coach of the Giants’ AFLW team for its seventh season.
