Bryan Salazar (born October 17, 1994) is an American soccer midfielder from Houston, Texas. He is 5 ft 9 in tall. Salazar joined the Houston Dynamo Academy at age 13, progressing to the Dynamo U-18 team. On February 13, 2013, he signed his first professional contract with Houston, becoming the fifth academy player to sign under MLS's Homegrown Player Rule. He made his pro debut on May 30, 2013, starting at forward and playing 60 minutes in Houston's 2-0 U.S. Open Cup win over FC Tucson. Before the 2014 season, Salazar, along with teammates Anthony Arena and Jason Johnson, was loaned to the Dynamo's USL Pro affiliate, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, where he made one league appearance. He did not appear in MLS league matches for Houston.
