Olusola Bandele Oyewole (born 30 September 1955) is a Nigerian professor of Food Science and Technology and an educational administrator. He was the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta from May 2012 to 23 May 2017, and he served as President of the Association of African Universities from 2013 to 2017.

Early life and education
He was born in Kaduna State and hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State. He attended Odo-Otin Grammar School in Osogbo. He earned a BSc degree from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1981, and his MSc (1984) and PhD in Food Science and Technology from the University of Ibadan.

Career
Oyewole began his academic career in 1985 as a lecturer in the Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, later becoming head of the department. He also worked with the Association of African Universities as Project Officer for a World Bank project on Quality Assurance for African higher education from 2006 to 2009.

Legal matters
On 25 November 2016, he and others were arraigned in an Ogun State High Court on N800 million fraud allegations by the EFCC. In May 2018, they were discharged and acquitted for lack of merit.

He is non-partisan.
