Broadway Through a Keyhole (also billed as Broadway Thru a Keyhole) is a 1933 American pre-Code musical film produced by Twentieth Century Pictures and released by United Artists. The story is by Walter Winchell, with a screenplay by C. Graham Baker and Gene Towne, and the film was directed by Lowell Sherman. It features a fictionalized version of New York City speakeasy owner Texas Guinan, played by Guinan herself, along with early appearances by Lucille Ball, Ann Sothern, and Susan Fleming.

Plot
Racketeer Frank Rocci is smitten with Joan Whelan, a dancer at Texas Guinan’s Broadway nightclub. He uses his influence to help her land a starring role in the show, hoping she’ll fall in love with him. After the show is a hit, Joan accepts Frank’s marriage proposal, mainly out of gratitude rather than love. Things grow more complicated when she falls for a handsome bandleader during a trip to Florida. Can she tell Frank she’s in love with someone else?
